Mortgage Production Analytics
Mortgage production is the units and dollars the company is funding, compared with the recent trend and broken out by region, branch, and loan officer. A single company total does not show whether the change is broad or concentrated.

Start with funded production, then explain the change
A production total is only useful when it can be compared. Mortgage leaders need the current period in units and dollars, the recent trend, and the locations or originators responsible for the change. Telemetry BI is built to show that view from loan origination and accounting data rather than from a rebuilt spreadsheet.
What to measure
Units and dollars
Unit counts show activity. Dollar volume shows the size of that activity. A branch can fund more loans and still produce less volume if loan size falls. Review both, and keep application activity separate from funded production.
Where the volume sits
Company, region, branch, and loan officer views answer different questions. The company number shows direction. The branch and originator numbers show whether production is broad or concentrated.
| View | Question |
|---|---|
| Company | Is funded production ahead of or behind the recent run rate? |
| Region or branch | Which locations are carrying volume? |
| Loan officer | Is production broad, or dependent on a few originators? |
How Telemetry BI supports the review
Telemetry BI includes daily and monthly productivity dashboards, sales funnels, and team views for the company, region, and branch. Loan officer rankings and loan-level drill-downs let a manager move from the company total to the people and loans behind it. The same platform calculates a core set of performance measures and KPIs from LOS and accounting data, so branches are not maintaining separate production workbooks.
Use this review with pipeline analytics and branch profitability. The platform is described on the Telemetry BI for Mortgage page.
